About Kent Gardens
Kent Gardens Recreation Club is a lovely tree-covered community pool offering swim and dive teams that compete in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL). The NVSL was founded in 1956 to sponsor competitive swimming and diving in and among the community swimming pools in that area of Northern Virginia contiguous to the District of Columbia, and to develop in the children participating in this program: a love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

KGRC is a member supported non-profit organization, managed by an elected Board of Directors. We are proud of our friendly and community-oriented membership. KGRC sponsors a number of social activities throughout the season in addition to providing swim and dive teams to the McLean community.
